The sequel to the 2019 blockbuster movie Joker is confirmed by the director of the former movie Todd Phillips. The director took his Instagram on 8th June to post a picture of a script cover giving confirmation that he is working on the sequel of the movie, Joker, and revealed the title, and Joker 2 movie Title is Joker: Folie à Deux.

The teaser has an image of Joaquin Phoenix who plays Joker reading the film’s script sitting by a window and confirming the return of the actor in the movie who won an Oscar award for his role. The script is written by Todd Phillips along with Scott Silver who has also written the script for the first film. Upon hearing the news, the fans have been very excited to know more about the movie and the title also feels very intriguing, and suspect that Harley Quinn may be there in the sequel. The title Folie à deux which is a French word that means medically a mental disorder that affects two or more individuals of the same family and may possibly connect Batman and Joker in terms one has not expected and this sure is raising the curiosity amongst the fans of Joker and DC fans. The makers are yet to reveal more information about the movie and we have to wait for more information. People are very excited about the Joker 2 movie and Joker 2 movie release date is 2023.
