Many movie critics gave mixed reviews to the movie and the audience was also not impressed with the movie plot, screenplay, and execution and Samrat Prithviraj is not a successful venture for the makers due to its average collection on Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 saw a slight increase in the collection but that was not sufficient and the collection on Day 4 and Day 5 was also not that great.

The movie was released on more than 4500 screens and the screens are de-reading day to day and if this continues the movie may not reach the budget and may be a flop.
