William Laurence Binglam was a Professional Northern Ireland footballer and football manager whose first professional club was Glentoran 

whom he played for between 1948 to 1950, Billy Bingham passed away on 9th June 2022 and he was 90 years old when he died.  

Billy Bingham was born on 5th August 1931 in Belfast, United Kingdom, and Billy Bingham's age is 90 years as of 2022.  

Billy Bingham switched to Luton town in 1958 making close to 100 league appearances in a 3-year spell and this was also followed by a 2-year association with Everton. 

Billy Bingham finished his career after breaking his leg in a match for Port Vale in 1964 when he was 33 & he had scored over 133 goals in 525 appearances in all domestic competitions.  

From 1951 to 1963 Billy Bingham has won 56 caps for Northern Ireland scoring 10 International goals & Billy Bingham also played at the FIFA world cup in 1958. 

Billy Bingham’s management career began in 1965 for Southport, he was appointed manager of Northern Ireland 2 years later.  

Billy Bingham was appointed as the head coach of the Greece national side in 1971 and he returned to Greece for a brief spell in 1977. 

Billy Bingham later served as director of Football for Blackpool and in 2008 he came out of retirement to become a talent spotter in Ireland for Burnley.
