Usher Komugisha started her career as a Volunteer in the social work department at Watoto Child Care Ministries in October 2008 and she worked there till February 2010. After that Usher Komugisha joined as a Radio sports analyst at Power FM 104.1 and after that in March 2010 Usher Komugisha joined as a Sports contributor at Standard-UCU’s bi-monthly newspaper and in November 2010 she left the job and in June 2011 Usher Komugisha became the Basketball TV commentator at Channel 44 and till November 2011 she worked there.
In her career, Usher Komugisha has worked at many organizations in many roles such as Freelance sports journalist at Vision Group, Sports Intern at NTV Uganda, Sports Editor and communications director at Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee, Reporter at New Times-Rwanda, Travel Writer at Inzozi, Rwandair in-flight magazine, as a Freelance Writer at The Guardian Limited, Director Of Communications at FIBA AfroBasket 2021 and after that, she joined Sky TV channel as an AFCON 2021 Journalist in January 2022 and she worked there till February 2022.

Usher Komugisha also studied Masters, in Football Business Management at Sports Business Institute Barcelona from October 2022 to June 2023.
